Very well. While it is possible that there were players that chose Octopus to play as Octolings, it isn't possible to prove it had a significant impact on the result, and it therefore must not be suggested. If something is claimed, it is no one's responsibility to try to disprove the claim, but the claimer's to provide evidence. That is called the burden of proof. This is pretty much all demonstrably true. The only thing not 100% verified is that it skewed the results, and even then I remember a lot of talk about Octo having more players because everyone wanted to play as an Octoling, which could probably be dug up. Even if not, it could just be changed to something like "the only one that potentially skewed the results". I think there's too much good info to just trash it entirely. Intro dialogue issues.

To be clear: do not get rid of those "duplicates", as they are reflecting which English localization (North America or Europe) they originate from. The localization of origin for each line can be seen in the rightmost column of the quotes table. Driftin Soul [Talk!] 20:48, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
