Team Gloves is a team in the Splatoon manga. Team Gloves is made up of four Inklings, named Gloves, Straps, Clip-ons, and Half-Rim.

Description

Gloves

Main article: Gloves

Gloves is a male Inkling with the "Slick" hairstyle. He wears the Squidfin Hook Cans, Black V-Neck Tee, and the Yellow-Mesh Sneakers. He wears the loose shorts with leggings and wields the Splat Dualies. His hair and eye color are neon green.

Straps

Straps is a female Inkling with the "Wave" hairstyle. She wears the Takoroka Visor, Navy King Tank, and the Neon Delta Straps. She wears tight sweatpants and wields the Splat Roller. Her hair and eye color are neon green.

Clip-ons

Clip-ons is a female Inkling with the "Haircut" hairstyle. She wears the Squid clip-ons, Octobowler Shirt, and the Mint Dakroniks. She wears the classic shorts and wields the Splattershot but used the Dualie Squelchers against Team Blue and Team X-Blood. Her hair and eye color are neon green.

Half-Rim

Half-Rim is a male Inkling with the "Hipster" hairstyle. He wears the Half-Rim Glasses, Pink Easy-Stripe Shirt, and the Shark Moccasins. He wears the drawstring cargo pants and wields the Splatterscope. His hair and eye color are neon green.

Personality

Gloves

Gloves is very stylish and says the word "cool" frequently, but gets very mad and confused when his tentacles come off. He likes being "Trendy" and "Fresh". He seems to not get on very well with Rider as their play styles always clash, although he and Rider get upset at some of the same stuff.

Trivia

• In the Inkling Almanac of Volume 4, Half-Rim and Straps's names are erroneously swapped.
  • This was fixed in later printings, but Half-Rim's name is also erroneously written as "Half-Rimz." This error is also present in Volume 12's Inkling Almanac.
• According to the Inkling Almanac, Gloves spends an hour doing his hair.
• According to the Inkling Almanac, after Gloves trained in the mountains, they wanted to train there as a team but decided to compromise by training at a camping site.
• They have been a team ever since they were kids, as mentioned in their battle against Team Blue.
