Template:Promoted
Place this template on the talk page of an editor who was promoted to a new user group. This template provides helpful information and links to get them started.
Remember, no one is required to use this template, and you are free to write a message with your own words.
This template must be substituted. The template will also automatically place your signature, so do not sign this as you normally would a message.
Syntax

in a new section on an editor's talk page. The available options for the position parameter are: admin

Admin

- All the functions of a patroller. Patrolling is a shared responsibility of all Inkipedia staff. Press the [mark as reviewed] button for every edit that you review. For more details, see Inkipedia's patrolling guide.
- If you see someone who qualifies for autopatrol, you can promote them to reduce the amount of edits that need to be patrolled.
- The right to delete pages. Make sure you understand the deletion policy before deleting pages.
- The right to protect pages. You can protect pages to prevent some user groups from editing the page.
- The right to block abusive users from editing. Make sure to read the blocking guidelines before issuing any blocks.
- Remember to communicate with users! You can write messages with your own words or use a template when appropriate. The relevant templates are Template:Warning and Template:Blocked.
- Block tools and logs: Special:Block, Special:BlockList, Special:Log/block
- Many other tools.
- A bold dark green username on the recent changes page.

Patroller

- A [mark as reviewed] button on diff pages. Click it after you have reviewed an edit, so that other staff members know that all necessary review and action has been completed for that edit.

- A rollback button on the recent changes page. It instantly reverts multiple edits to a page. This should only be used for reverting vandalism and spam, because it doesn't have the option of leaving an edit summary.
- You can add a confirmation prompt to this button (to prevent accidental clicks) at: Special:Preferences > Appearance > Show a confirmation prompt when clicking on a rollback link
