Template talk:Infobox/Character

From Inkipedia, the Splatoon wiki

Could name be changed to {{PAGENAME}} by default so it would be {{{name|{{PAGENAME}}}}}? It would save an unnecessary line in majority of character articles. Thanks, Luke (talk) 11:56, 3 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It could and it should. – EspyoT 12:47, 3 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
...But it already does work like that. – EspyoT 12:48, 3 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Oh, I just assumed it didn't because everyone was using |name =, but I guess I should check these things first. Luke (talk) 13:35, 3 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
It's probably copy-paste syndrome. Don't worry about it. – EspyoT 13:36, 3 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Could any sysop of sort make the image resolution for any of the infoboxes to 250x250px instead of just 250px? I think that would look better for a bunch of infoboxes with long images (e.g. Crusty Sean, Callie or Marie). Arend (talk) 14:42, 29 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Could an "internal name" field be added?

So I can put names used by the game internally? --Hiccup (talk) 15:06, 6 January 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Can you cite where those names are from? If so then sure. User:Kjhf/Sig 18:19, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
Various game files. They should be the same throughout all the files and all the versions of the game. --Hiccup (talk) 12:17, 17 February 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Hiccup per the leak policy, we do not have datamined content that is unverifiable without hacking. If you can find the information on another reliable site, then we could cite the information. User:Kjhf/Sig 20:18, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
That is a confusing policy - I mean, images ripped from the game are okay - but non-image data isn't? If I made a pastebin post with internal names from the game - specifying the game version and file path - then linked that post, would that be okay? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hiccup (talkcontribs)
