Trooper Power Stripes
The Trooper Power Stripes are a pair of shoes in the Splatoon series.
They are a 3-star item produced by Takoroka and come with the primary ability Sub Power Up.
They were released via the Splatoon 2 Switch News channel as a promotion for the Hare vs. Tortoise Splatfest. They can also be purchased from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for 
14,400.
Appearance
The Trooper Power Stripes are grey Hi-Top shoes with cyan, cream and purple stripes running down the side and glowing cyan circles on the outside of the sole. The tongue has the Takoroka logo in a circle.
Splatoon 2
Abilities
The Trooper Power Stripes come with Sub Power Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, they come with any other primary ability normally available to Shoes. As a 3-star item, the Trooper Power Stripes come with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since they are made by the Takoroka gear brand, they have a higher chance of rolling Special Charge Up and a lower chance of rolling Special Power Up to fill their secondary ability slots.
