This template takes roller weapon parameters as input and generates a list of facts about the weapon.

Notes

We may have to use the template multiple times for each weapon, due to the stat changes when standing and jumping.

We might organize it like this:

General

  • Weight class
  • Movement speed while rolling and dashing
  • Rolling ink consumption

Standing

  • Horizontal flick ink consumption
  • Movement speed while flicking

Jumping

  • Vertical flick ink consumption

Example

Inkbrush general

  • The Heddy/Test/1 is a lightweight weapon.
  • The Heddy/Test/1 can be swung every 6 frames (10 swings per second).
  • When rolling, the player's movement speed is set to 1.92 units per frame.
  • After rolling for 1.5 seconds without turning sharply, the player begins to dash.
  • When dashing, the player's movement speed is set to 1.92 units per frame.
  • After rolling, there is a 20 frame cooldown before the ink tank starts refilling.
  • Hitting an opponent while rolling deals 20 damage.

Inkbrush standing

  • The ink consumption of 2% allows players to fire 50 shots before needing to refill the ink supply.
  • When attacking with a nearly depleted ink tank, the ink consumption of that attack is reduced to 50% of the normal amount.
  • When attacking while moving, the player's movement speed is set to 0.24 units per frame.
  • After flicking the roller, there is a 30 frame cooldown before the ink tank starts refilling.
  • If a shot is in the air for more than 20 frames after being fired, it loses 7.5 damage per frame until it reaches 15 damage at frame 40.
  • Normally, damage scales from 30 to 15, depending on the time ink spends in the air.
    • However, when ink falls down to hit an opponent, fall off damage will occur instead. Fall off damage scales from 30 to 7.5, depending on the time ink spends in the air.

Inkbrush jumping

  • The ink consumption of 2% allows players to fire 50 shots before needing to refill the ink supply.
  • When attacking with a nearly depleted ink tank, the ink consumption of that attack is reduced to 50% of the normal amount.
  • When attacking while moving, the player's movement speed is set to 0.24 units per frame.
  • After flicking the roller, there is a 30 frame cooldown before the ink tank starts refilling.
  • If a shot is in the air for more than 100 frames after being fired, it loses Division by zero. damage per frame until it reaches 10 damage at frame 100.
  • Normally, damage scales from 140 to 10, depending on the time ink spends in the air.
    • However, when ink falls down to hit an opponent, fall off damage will occur instead. Fall off damage scales from 140 to 10, depending on the time ink spends in the air.

Octobrush general

  • The Heddy/Test/1 is a middleweight weapon.
  • The Heddy/Test/1 can be swung every 10 frames (6 swings per second).

  • After rolling, there is a 20 frame cooldown before the ink tank starts refilling.
  • Hitting an opponent while rolling deals 25 damage.

  • If a shot is in the air for more than 24 frames after being fired, it loses 9.52 damage per frame until it reaches 20 damage at frame 45.
  • Normally, damage scales from 40 to 20, depending on the time ink spends in the air.
