eBook replacement project
Most of the manga images can be obtained by buying each manga in ebook format and extracting the digital images. This process is better than scanning: you still buy the manga while avoid the artifacts introduced in the printing process.
Splatoon
The first manga series can be found in this Shogakukan listing.
There are multiple eBook shops where you can buy the volumes (27 in total). We need first to know which ones allow Digital Rights Management-free (DRM-free) downloads in their terms and user agreements plus not compressing the manga images significantly, if at all.
