Does anyone else think this could be useful for checking a game's beta elements? It could be added to press, etc. images when uploaded and removed after the release of all its content and it is checked for any differences with the main game. Nyargleblargle (Contribs) 18:19, 1 February 2017 (UTC)

I like it! Alternatively, I think we could simply mark images as pre-release content and leave the template on indefinitely. It could be useful in general to know what images are from pre-release and which ones aren't, even if there aren't any noticeable discrepancies between the two. If we want a way to mark images as checked, we could maybe add a parameter (e.g. {{Prerelease image|checked=no}} ) ~SuperHamster Talk 07:09, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
