Edit on List of gear in Splatoon

I see that you reorganized the gear alphabetically- the reason it was out of order is because similar items were grouped together (beanies, caps, glasses etc.). This provides another layer of information to the reader. The table can easily be organized alphabetically by clicking the Name header if desired. There was also a discussion about this at Talk:Clothing. I appreciate you taking the time to make things look more organized though! :) I'm going to be adding more images to the Headgear section so I will be reverting the changes. If you still feel like alphabetical is the way to go post your suggestions on the talk page and we'll figure out a compromise. --sunmarsh (talk) 15:43, 13 June 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Skype

Hey, PPLToast! Inkipedia users mainly use a Skype group chat to discuss the wiki and all things Splatoon, and we'd love it if you joined us. Do you have a Skype? - ShrimpPin 23:10, 22 June 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi, I'm sorry, but I don't use Skype due to the way Microsoft forces it to all computers, which is something I'm not a fan of. That along with its high CPU usage and updates that just make it worse every time, just puts me off from it. I get why people use it as it's there for everyone (due to Windows updates or being pre-installed etc.). I would personally use IRC or Slack as an alternative though. I'd like to chat, but as long as it's Skype, I'm sorry, but just cannot. Thanks for the offer though. PPLToast (talk) 00:24, 23 June 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That's totally understandable. The reason we use Skype instead of IRC is because messages can be sent and received at any time, and users do not all have to be present to communicate. I don't use Skype on my computer, either; I just use the app on my iPhone. It's much less intrusive. Could that be an option? - ShrimpPin 00:36, 23 June 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yeah, I guess it would be an option, but I'm all out of room on my phone, the app is 80 MB, (compared to Slack's 29 MB which I have) so I can't get it. Guess I'll just come up with something later... PPLToast (talk) 12:43, 23 June 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I love Slack too, but it's hard to get people to use a new medium :/ If you log in at Outlook.com, you can actually use a limited version of Skype through your browser. It's nothing fancy (not much more than being able to chat), but it gets the job done for me at work and on my Chromebook (which lacks the ability to run apps, save for shoddy Android apps...). ~SuperHamster Talk 12:56, 23 June 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That's a good idea! Just let us know if/when you're able to access Skype, and we'll be sure to add you! - ShrimpPin 23:01, 2 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
