Version talk pages

Hello, please do not create talk pages for all weapons and new game versions in need of an update. They are going to be added in due time, and it's usually taken care of rather fast. Anemoia [Talk!] 11:39, 17 July 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I understand. I was a bit hasty for 8.1.0's page changes and I'll try not to do it again. The Thing (talk) 20:33, 17 July 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Multiple edits to user page within minutes

Hello, I noticed that you saved many changes to your user page within minutes from the last edit. This is disruptive behavior. The "save changes" button should only be used once you are sure that you have completed all changes you want to make for the day. Please let me know if you have any questions! Heddy (talk) 16:32, 25 July 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Ok I'll try to be better about it. The Thing (talk) 17:09, 25 July 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hey there, reminding you about this warning. Please try to consolidate changes to your userpage. Thank you! Trig - 22:58, 12 August 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'm sorry, I have just been doing lots of small additions to make my user page better looking, I'll try to stop doing it. The Thing (talk) 23:00, 12 August 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Notice about multiple edits to a single page

Hello, I'm giving you a second warning about multiple edits within minutes. This should not just be avoided on user pages, but all pages, as it overwhelms the recent changes log. In the future, please use the show preview button to view how your edit will look on the page before you confirm it, and proofread your work to make sure it's exactly how you want it.

Thanks, and happy editing! XarrotD (talk) 02:18, 13 August 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I know, but when I go onto the recent changes log some things say a certain number of changes like "3 changes" because the wiki is compiling them into one section for easy viewing. Nevertheless, I'm kinda done with overhauling my user page, and don't really know what to change for other pages, so you probably won't see much changes from me over the next few days. Thanks!
P.S. I do have a new article on Ink Pump if you want to check that out. The Thing (talk) 11:28, 13 August 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Multiple edits at a time overwhelms the recent changes log in the discord server as well as patrollers looking to review edits.
If you're looking for things to do, you can always check the current projects page and see if anything on there interests you.
Thanks! XarrotD (talk) 12:10, 13 August 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
This also negatively impacts our server host as it causes needless page re-parsing of content and takes up more storage space. The recent changes log only consolidates edits by default—for many other users, this is not the case. The same applies to non-userspace pages as well. Refusal to comply with this request will be interpreted as disruptive editing and your ability to contribute may be compromised. Trig - 17:16, 13 August 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Additional notice about multiple repeated edits to a single page

I am once again asking you to please proofread your edits. Your recent edits to the Wellstring V page happened within 5 minutes of each other, and still left in an error that had to be corrected. You were recently blocked for this behavior, and if it continues, we will issue another block.

Thank you, and happy editing! XarrotD (talk) 17:12, 22 August 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

This problem has not been addressed despite several explicit warnings that your behavior is disruptive, and several frivolous edits were made soon after this warning. Accordingly, another longer block has been issued. Please make a greater effort to avoid this behavior in the future as you have previously agreed to or further blocks may be issued. Thank you. Proper use of buff/nerf templates

Hello, please do not manually add "→" to the buff/nerf templates. Instead, always use the pipe symbol "|" (which is actually on keyboards) between numbers, and the template will automatically display the arrow. Example: {{Buff|Increased damage|80|100}}. If you see the arrow symbol manually added by someone else, then they have also not properly used the template. Please let me know if you have any questions.
