Brief overview

The player must go through the stage to find the 8-Ball and bring it back to the beginning where the goal is located.

Checkpoint 1

Starting from the first checkpoint there is a path with a fence that can be swum under on jumped over, followed by a launchpad and the 8-Ball goal. The only option is to take the launchpad which leads into an octagon-shaped area with some small columns, two Sanitized Octotroopers and a Sanitized Deluxe Twintacle Octotrooper and a crate containing armor. The Octarians have to be defeated to make a bridge come down which leads to a path with three Octotroopers on a raised floor. The way is down which leads to a square area with a crate containing Power Eggs, followed by a rotating octagon-shaped cylinder on its side with fences attached to it and three Octotroopers stationed on it. Crossing it leads to the second checkpoint.

Checkpoint 2

The path takes a right and eventually leads to a raised floor with a wall. A Sanitized Octosniper is stationed in the distance which starts to shoot. A moving platform with some fences and a small column will move to the raised floor which has to be boarded to continue. Use the column as cover against the Octosniper and wait for the platform to move all the way to the next platform. Following the path leads to the third checkpoint.

Checkpoint 3

Checkpoint 3 is located on an octagon-shaped area with a can spawner spawning an infinite amount of canned Burst-Bomb Launcher special weapons. The path leads down to an octagon-shaped area within the center an octagon-shaped cylindrical tower with two retangle-shaped platforms attached to it. Attached to the area are four square-shaped platforms to each side and an Inkrail is found there that leads back to checkpoint 3. Two Octotroopers are stationed on the tower's wall. Climb the tower which leads to a Vault with the 8-Ball. A Splat-Switch is located above the tower which has to be activated two times to make the tower turn so that one of the rectangle-shaped platforms leads to the next area. This leads to another rotating octagon-shaped cylinder on its side followed by one being upright. Climbing them leads to another octagon-shaped area with small columns and five Octotroopers and one Sanitized Shielded Octotrooper. A key can be found on a platform in the back which has to be used to open the Vault. Head back for the Vault, make use of the Splat-Switch to move the tower, and retrieve the 8-Ball. Opening the Vault activates the fourth checkpoint.

Checkpoint 4

Push the 8-Ball to the center of the tower and lead it to the 8-Ball Switch which reveals many Squid Rings. The 8-Ball must fall down the 8-Ball Launcher to collect all the Squid Rings which launches the 8-Ball back to the third checkpoint, activating the fifth checkpoint. If the 8-Ball falls down the tower onto the area below, there are two 8-Ball Launchers that launch it back onto the tower.

Checkpoint 5

Go back to the third checkpoint to push the 8-Ball onto the moving platform, then push it off the platform once it reaches the other side. Lead the 8-Ball back to the second checkpoint which activates the sixth and final checkpoint.

Final Checkpoint

Make the 8-Ball cross the rotating octagon-shaped cylinder, then guide it to a slim glass platform, drop it at the end of the platform to the 8-Ball goal. Pushing the 8-Ball onto the goal passes the test.
