Bankara
From Inkipedia, the Splatoon wiki

Bankara (written as Bancala in some official Japanese media)[1][2] is the romanization of the Japanese word バンカラ (sometimes written in kanji "蛮殻"), a word used throughout the Japanese version of Splatoon 3. It may refer to:
- The Splatlands (バンカラ地方, Bankara chihō), a location
- Splatsville (バンカラ街, Bankara-gai), a location
- Anarchy Battle (バンカラマッチ, Bankara Match), a game mode
- Anarchy Splatcast (バンカラジオ, Bankarajio), the in-game news broadcast
- Anarchy Rainbow (蛮殻ミックスモダン, Bankara Mikkusumodan), a song
- Anarchy Poisons (蛮殻三毒楽, Bankara Sandokugaku), a song
- Suffer No Fools (蛮殻 MC BATTLE ~The King of Tentacular~), a song
- Splatoon 3: Splatlands (スプラトゥーン バンカラ!, Splatoon Bankara!), a manga series published on CoroCoro Comic in Japan
- BancalaWalker, one of the artbooks for Splatoon 3
Bankara is a late 19th century fashion trend meant as the opposite of ハイカラ (haikara, "high-collar"); the term is otherwise used to refer to the general Splatlands region, in contrast with Haikara, which is used for the general Inkopolis region.
