Quotes

No band reps harder for the Splatlands than this trio. Despite having no formal musical education, they rose to the surface through raw sensibility and ambition alone. As rowdy as they might look, they deliver a tight, heavy sound that's pumping with vitality.
— Splatoon Base[6]
These three don't doubt for a second that they're the greatest band alive. They don't ask permission to cover other artists' tracks, and they claim their versions are better. In the case of Squid Squad's Now or Never!, they even claim to be the originators.

Etymology

The band's name refers to two sides of phonograph records and cassette tapes (A-side and B-side). The front side of the second record in a two-record set is sometimes designated the C-side. The name is also phonetically similar to "seaside". In addition, "c" is the third letter in the Latin alphabet, three being a number that is often referenced in Splatoon 3.

  • Baker's name could be in reference to a baked rice snack that shares the same name as his Japanese name, Beika.
