Wow, where did you get this, ? This looks like another great resource for abilities.

Looking through its statistics for the Splattershot Jr. also seems to validate Shahar and my opinion that Main Power Up is not important enough to devote many gear slots. Also remember that, in major tournaments, only main abilities and not sub abilities are allowed. Therefore, if a tournament player were to create a loadout for the Splattershot Jr., what abilities would they devote their three lone mains to? DaDoc540 (talk) 20:57, 9 September 2020 (UTC)

Me and Heddy were discussing on the wiki's discord server about how to make the gear abilities section more useful and less conflicted. At first I wanted strict guidelines with criteria to which abilities would fit but it would be more useful to have information on any ability as there is no correct definitive answer. Abilities are all about mix and match so we shouldn't limit ourselves to 2-3. We thought conflict could be reduced by representing it as a guide to abilities in relation to a weapon, with no limit to the number of abilities discussed, rather than as a list of what's popular or "recommended". We left a note for editors that if you believe that an ability is particularly good, you can state its benefits, synergy, viability and purpose and add citations to it to back it up in order to show its advantages and superiority in the competitive scene. I hope the solution to ability conflicts is helpful to you and every editor! This way, we can add as much helpful ability information as possible under that section, and if we believe one ability is more viable than others, we can add an appropriate citation to support that.
