The Face Visor is headgear in the Splatoon series.

In Splatoon 2, it is a 3-star item produced by Toni Kensa and comes with the primary ability Bomb Defense Up DX. It can be purchased from Headspace for Cash 10,300 or from SplatNet 2 Gear Shop for Cash 15,450.

In Splatoon 3, it is a 2-star item produced by Toni Kensa and comes with the primary ability Bomb Defense Up DX. It can be purchased from Naut Couture for Cash 10,300 or from SplatNet 3 Shop for Cash 15,450.

Appearance

The Face Visor is a black-tinted visor that covers the entire top-half of the wearer's face. The band attached to the visor stretches around most of the head and bears a Toni Kensa logo on the left side.

Abilities

The Face Visor comes with Bomb Defense Up DX as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 2, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 3-star item, the Face Visor comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the Toni Kensa gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Main Power Up and a lower chance of rolling Sub Power Up to fill its secondary ability slots.

The Face Visor comes with Sub Resistance Up as the primary ability when purchased from a shop or ordered from Murch. When purchased from SplatNet 3, it comes with any other primary ability normally available to Headgear. As a 2-star item, the Face Visor comes with three additional slots for secondary abilities. The star level may be increased with Super Sea Snails for 1 (first), 1 (second), 5 (third), 10 (fourth), or 20 (fifth) Super Sea Snails per star, or by purchasing additional copies of it from Naut Couture for 10,000 (first), 30,000 (second), 50,000 (third), 100,000 (fourth), or 200,000 (fifth) Cash per star. Increasing the star level beyond 2 stars will increase the gear experience gained by a cumulative 3.333…% up to 10% additional experience at 5-star level. Since it is made by the Toni Kensa gear brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Ink Saver (Main) and a lower chance of rolling Sub Power Up to fill its secondary ability slots.
