C.Q. Cumber's Quotes

It's important that you learn to get the most out of your Inkjet.
One move you'll want to master is pressing Button1 B.png to make the Inkjet float a bit.
You can press Button1 ZL.png to submerge in Inkrails, even when using the Inkjet.
If you want to shoot from an Inkrail, just press Button1 ZR.png.
Be sure to submerge back into the Inkrail after you shoot, though, or you'll fall.

Pearl's Quotes

Oho - an Inkrail?
Shoot from the Inkrails! Press Button1 ZL.png to fire!
What's that? Something came out.
Now float up!
Inkrails! Use 'em well.
Huh? Something else is moving...

  • The title and subtitle, along with the ones for A07 Maverick Station and G10E07 Iceman Station, are a reference to the 1986 film Top Gun.
  • The Dutch title of C10 McFly Station and the subtitle of this station are different by one letter. The former title translates to "Flying isn't difficult", while the subtitle of this station translates to "Flying is difficult", contradicting each other.
  • This station has GBA screen magnifiers floating in the background.

Translation notes

  1. A pun on "Kurozu daietto" (black vinegar diet). It was very popular in nineties Japan.
  2. Comes from "het is een kunst", a Dutch saying meaning "it is not easy".
  3. Comes from "'m van jetje geven", a Dutch saying for "to do your best / to go strong / to beat someone up severely". While "jetje" here has an unknown meaning, it is the diminutive form of "jet", making it be a pun on "inktjet" (Inkjet).
  4. Comes from "Bad" (bath), "Tinte" (ink) and "-heim", a suffix found in certain German city and district names.
