Got It! is a jingle that appears in Splatoon, Splatoon 2, and Splatoon 3.

Description

Got It! consists of a short guitar riff. In Splatoon, it plays whenever the player receives gear or weapons after fulfilling certain requirements in Octo Valley, reaching certain level thresholds and talking to Judd, or finishing an amiibo challenge. In Splatoon 2, it plays whenever the player receives gear or weapons from the box in the plaza, upon returning to the plaza, or from an amiibo. In Octo Expansion in Splatoon 2, it plays whenever the player receives a reward from Iso Padre, from the vending machine, or from defeating Inner Agent 3. In Splatoon 3, it plays whenever the player receives a reward, for example from the lobby terminal, Shell-Out Machine, catalog, or an amiibo. It also plays when picking up a reward in the Crater during Return of the Mammalians. In each game, it also plays upon the player receiving one or more Super Sea Snails.

Trivia

  • The Japanese name for Got It! in the Splatune 3 album, "アイテムゲット" (Item Get), is different than the one from the Splatune and Splatune 2 albums, "ゲットジングル" (Get Jingle). However, the new versions of Got It! added in Splatune 3 and Ordertune still use "ゲットジングル" (Get Jingle) as the base of their names.

Etymology

Got It! likely refers to the player getting an item upon hearing this jingle. The Swag in Got It! (Alterna Swag) likely uses the meaning to refer to assorted goods.
