Ink wheel
From Inkipedia, the Splatoon wiki
Ink wheels are a mechanic in Return of the Mammalians.
Description
Ink wheels roll and create narrow trails of ink when hit, somewhat similarly to Rolonium. Some can only be used once, others stop at certain points while rolling and must be hit again to resume rolling, and yet others are regenerated indefinitely by machines after being used. Unlike Rolonium, ink wheels do not fly into the air, instead following a set path along the ground and sometimes up or down walls. They explode on contact with certain things, such as enemy Octarians.
