Inkipedia:Cross-Wiki Week
The Cross-Wiki Week is an annual event hosted by the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance (NIWA), held to celebrate Nintendo's birthday. The purpose of the event is to promote cooperation by inviting editors to contribute to wikis they don't regularly edit. At the end of the event, two winners will receive a $20/€20 Nintendo eShop gift card for participating! The 2024 Cross-Wiki Week will take place from Friday, 20 September, to Monday, 30 September. For more information, please have a look at NIWA's main page.
Feel free to join our Discord chat if you need help or want to discuss something!
Inkipedia in other languages
There are many more things to do on Inkipedia's family sites: es: and fr:.
Getting started
If you don't have an Inkipedia account already, let's get to making one!
- In the top right corner, find the "Create account" button.
- Though not required, it's recommended to have the same username across NIWA so we can recognize you!
- Fill in the form giving the necessary information, and the optional information if you feel like doing so.
- For staff of other NIWA wikis, message an admin and we will give you Inkipedia:Affiliate rights if you wish.
After creating an account, find an article you want to edit (there's a general list below), and get to editing! You can find the edit button above the article's content. When saving an edit, add #cww to your edit summary to be counted for the event.

Other projects
- Add Template:External links to applicable pages.
- For Octo Valley, Octo Canyon, Octo Expansion, and Return of the Mammalians level pages, migrate existing use of videos and Template:StrategyWiki into a new use of Template:External links.
- Clear out Category:Barnsquids by converting examples to use Template:User Splatfest or Template:User Inkfest. These should use team images and not barnsquids. See each template's documentation for more information.
