The S4 is a team in the Splatoon manga. It is composed of Army, Aloha, Mask, and is led by Skull. Rider becomes a temporary member during the Square Ranked Cup arc after Army is attacked by bees.
The team is composed of the leaders of four other teams, all of whom hold S+ rank. Though they are highly competent when playing on their own teams, their clashing personalities lead them to bicker constantly with one another when they have to work together.
Members
Skull

Skull is the leader of the S4 and the captain of the Purple Team. He uses the Custom E-liter 3K Scope, and later the E-Liter 4K Scope. Although he comes off as stoic, he is actually quite air-headed and easily distracted, often getting lost. He is named for his Skull Bandana.
Mask

Mask is a dour, unfriendly Inkling with an odd way of speaking and a love of video games. Leader of the Cyan Team, he uses a Carbon Roller and is named for his Gas Mask.
Aloha

Leader of the Pink Team, Aloha is a so-called party animal with a cunning streak who cares about being fresh as much as he cares about winning. He uses the .52 Gal and is named for the Aloha Shirt he wears.
Army

As regimented as his name, Army keeps careful notes on battle strategies in his team's manual also known as the Squid Net manual and uses them to predict his opponents' every move. He has a stern personality during the first battle between Team Orange and Team Blue. Goggles imparted him with a love of curry. He leads Team Orange and uses the N-ZAP '85.
