Shooter McStation is a test in Splatoon 2's paid downloadable content, Octo Expansion. This station is unlocked after clearing Sweet Ride Station or Ink It Station.

Overview

Shooter McStation is a shooting gallery-style test chamber. A target crate will move back and forth and must be shot down. With every successful trial complete, the test becomes harder, forcing players to predict the movement of the crate.

Two crates must be busted in the first trial, but only one for all subsequent trials. During the second and third trials, the gallery's sides are obscured, focusing the aim down the center. The fourth trial forces players to aim not in the center but off to the side, with an even smaller window to see the crate.

Etymology

"Shooter McStation" and its subtitle, "Just innnk it in...", are a reference to the character Shooter McGavin from the 1996 film Happy Gilmore and his line "All you gotta do is just taaaap it in... Just taaaap it in".
