Quotes

Sheldon's Introduction

The Splatterscope CAM-O is a spin-off of the Splat Charger CAM-O that comes with a long-range scope attached, making it an even more formidable sniping weapon. But you can't have your CAM-O and eat it too - that scope means that you can't store your charge. You'll also find that your field of vision narrows while charging. But with the Sprinkler sub and Crab Tank special, the loadout is still a powerhouse. Give it a try if you want to see how far a scope can take you!

The Splatterscope CAM-O is a weapon model featuring the scope from Splat Charger FRST[sic] coming from Barazushi in the Splatlands Collection. Like all weapons with scopes, it sacrifices the ability to hold a charge for longer range.

Trivia

  • The original tweet announcing this weapon accidentally used the Japanese suffix "FRST" to refer to Splat Charger CAM-O instead of the localized "CAM-O".
  • The Splatterscope CAM-O's appearance could be a reference to the Kelp Splatterscope, given the kelp stuck to the side of the ink tank.

Etymology

The brand stylization suffix "CAM-O" could be interpreted as camo or camouflage.
