Agent 8's dialogue

Can someone please remind me when Agent 8 uses dialogue? I don't remember him/her using dialogue. B ron 3000 backup (talk) 06:30, 30 July 2018 (UTC)

I think the trivia refers to the mem cake descriptions as Agent 8's dialogue, which the developers confirmed are Agent 8's attempt to make poems (even them pointing out that it's the first time the developers had to make dialogue for the player character). --Hinamin (talk) 14:13, 30 July 2018 (UTC)

Does anyone else think it's a little weird that Female agent 8 has different hair than the rival octoling and that male agent 8 exists?

Agent 8 in Splatoon 3

On the right of Agent 8's page it says that agent 8 is 21 in splatoon.If it is true then add a topic so that I can see it.Also, if it is true then where is he/she in splatoon 3? Splat.girl (talk) 15:51, 18 September 2022 (UTC)

I am the one who added/updated the ages of every Character after an interview confirmed that there is a 5 year passing between Splatoon 2 and Splatoon 3 launch dates. While Agents 4 and 8 don't appeared in Splatoon 3 (yet) it is not wrong to add ages build up on the fact that 5 years passed.   Perfectionist   (talk) 16:21, 2 October 2022 (UTC)

Yes and no. As long as they don't make a reappearance in Splatoon 3 there is nothing Splatoon 3 related to add for them. The exeption lies in the fact that with real time passing they have to be 5 years older regardless. I am not planning ahead with an assumption that we see them in a future DLC but simply stay true to passed time. Agent 8 being in the Octarian military

The current version of this page states that it can only be assumed that agent 8 was in the military, however according to their description on Splatoon Base it says that they were a combatant. NotOnepu (talk) 21:58, 29 December 2022 (UTC)

Split images for different games

Why is the infobox split into two for Octo Expansion and Side Order? This wasn't done for any other recurring characters like Agent 3. Why is the infobox being split now? -Random 18:07, 17 September 2023 (UTC)

Maybe because the other characters didn't change much, for example: agent 3 only became captain which is not that big of a deal, but for side order and oe, side order will have a different story than oe. VioletOcto (Talk) 20:23, 29 January 2024 (UTC)

There's been talk of avoiding split infoboxes whenever possible. On this note, this talk section is outdated: Agent 8 is no longer split. The only split character is Pearl, due to the Pearl Drone being so different that it cannot replace Pearl. Anemoia [Talk!] 20:33, 29 January 2024 (UTC)

Why is the main page locked?

This is a wiki that Nintendo has zero control over. We should be allowed to cut the bullshit and admit that Cuttlefish wanted Agent 8 dead at the beginning of the Octo Expansion. "which the telephone plans to use to smoothie both Agent 8 and Cap'n Cuttlefish" should read "which the telephone plans to use to kill both Agent 8 and Cap'n Cuttlefish", for example. Being straightforward can sometimes be good, but in this case it'll lead you nowhere.
A better word than "smoothie" could be used, yes; this does not mean we will head straight towards violence. I would refrain from using foul language on the wiki. The main weapon was a blender, which makes sense as it would blend or "smoothie" the occupants. Following the guidelines rather than lashing out would be the smarter choice, but I'll let higher authority take the wheel here. even though it's not controlled by Nintendo, some people might not like the use of these words or some kids might be looking at the page(s). After all, it is a kids game.
