Trivia tidbit

So I recently finished reading the 13th Splatoon manga book, and at the back of the book is some art of Ammoses Shellendorf that's credited to the Squid Research Lab. Among the art was a picture of him at 40 (I think it was 40) and he had a similar appearance to that of the relative whose picture hangs on the wall. So... is that Ammoses? It looks like it. I think the manga isn't canon, but I think the Squid Research Lab is canon, so that just makes things more confusing. After checking on Ammoses's page, there is something from the manga that is presented as canon, so I'm not really sure. I figured that if it is a picture of Ammoses, then we should clear up the trivia point about the picture. The manga's licenced by Nintendo, and there are clothes from the manga in-game, so it seems like the manga is canon? I think people consider it 'second-priority canon'; which means as long as it doesn't contradict the main series/SRL/Twitter, it's canon. Splatoon 3 clip in glich
