Soooo.... are Chinooks boss Salmonoids? - Agnt8

Let me put this in a logical way, although it still might be a debatable answer. During the Mothership, the Chinooks are sent out to place blue crates, and the mothership will go at the Egg Basket and take the golden eggs if there are any placed in there, but that's where the catch is. I've heard it is possible to splat the Mothership, but I had no idea if it was false, so I did try it out by using the Sting Ray early, and I had no success, so that's out. Chinooks drop one Golden Egg when Splatted instead of three. I think the main reason is that, "How will the player's still go for golden eggs if there are no Boss Salmonoids??" Even though normal salmonoids do not drop any golden eggs (Unless for snatchers when they have any golden eggs on their hands). I think this is all I have to say for right now. Helmet symbol

The symbol on the propeller helmet that the Chinook wears doesn't seem to be of a Golden Egg, but rather a logo of the Salmonid Army. The same exact symbol can be seen on various places - for example the Steelhead's bomb, the hatch of the Slammin' Lid, the Big Shot launcher, some frying pans that the Chum and Cohocks use or even the Mothership itself.

An Inkling text also can sometimes be seen with the logo which translates to "SALMONBIA". Ondrashek06 (talk) 14:12, 26 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Judging by the glow and concept art showing them having a golden egg in the same position as the logo on the final design, they could have the egg there, although that might count as speculation. Arceusgjengen (talk) 14:50, 26 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I agree that it is likely that it is just a logo on the Chinook's helmet, and not an actual Golden Egg. It does not look very much like a Golden Egg, other than that it is yellow. I will remove the trivia which mentions it.
It is very interesting that there is a symbol which is seen in so many places. I think it should be mentioned in the Salmonid article, but since it isn't confirmed that the symbol is for the Salmonid Army, it should just say that it is a symbol seen on various Salmonid equipment.  GX_64 (talk)  00:33, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I would say it's still plausible, but it isn't confirmed, and not way too important either. Arceusgjengen (talk) 14:26, 27 November 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
