Egg Drop Count

I don't know how to cite/link reference in the correct way, but in case any one needs proof, this video shows the first Goldie yielding a total of 20 eggs in two-turns, likely because (6500 HP / 500 HP per egg) + (2000 HP of regen / 500 HP) + 3 final eggs = 20. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm33252870

And these two videos show the same wave where they got a Goldie to drop 16 eggs by one-turn-insta-killing it with a Dynamo Roller (From 69 to 85). This is likely because the Goldie did not have time to regenerate its HP, yielding the minimum of 6500 / 500 + 3 = 16 eggs. https://twitter.com/zarame2431/status/992714035161251840 https://twitter.com/sora9236/status/992715762484690944

I always wondered why people reported 17 and I am seeing 18 myself, but I think this explains it :) Hadaasharpedo (talk) 22:09, 13 August 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Confirmed for S3?

In the S3 Salmon Run Next Wave trailer, in the scene introducing the new Egg Throw mechanic, an inactive Gusher can be seen. There is another one near the Egg Basket too. This could be an unconfirmed tease for the return of Goldie Seeking. Just wanted to share this. P.J. GT(talk)SSBU Inkling Boy.png 19:48, 13 February 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Yeah I think this is something to note. SplatonGamer (talk) 20:35, 13 February 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

To Do

  • Add Goldie locating strategies from Salmon Learn.
  • Add Goldie escape paths from Salmon Learn.

Difference in Splatoon 3

Hey, so there is a major difference between Splatoon 2 Goldie Seeking and Splatoon 3 Goldie Seeking: In Splatoon 2, lessers only spawn from the gushers that are opened, and don't come from the shores, while in Splatoon 3, it's the opposite (except lessers will spawn from the gusher the Goldie was in, just not the others). I think this is a pretty important fact that should be included, but I'm not sure how it should be added. Kenderman123 (talk) 04:02, 7 March 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
