Announced?

Why does it say Udon vs Soba is unannounced? Also, the second row rightmost column is completely cut off for me. –Eli (talk) 01:12, 7 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Sigh, it doesn't say Unannounced. I show the image first then the description just like most other people do; I figured this was self explanatory. What isn't announced yet is NA and EU's themes. Hence the "To Be Announced" text you see below those blank images. Also I'm going to need a screenshot or something to understand your issue. Aegis (talk) 02:00, 7 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Well, I am not Eli, but I can say what I see. The column and the details are not fully lined up, but slightly to the left or the right depending on how much space the other columns take up. Udon vs Soba is listed under the "Next Splatfest Themes" with no timer in the section "Time Until next Splatfest." The Splatfest article states that the Udon vs Soba SF should have occurred on the 3rd. . . It is protected. Japan had two Splatfests? I'll switch the Rice vs Bread for Udon vs Soba. Countdown can't be done unless we have a date for the next one so there you go. Also; like I said I'd rather a screenshot than a description of the issue. Thank you Aegis (talk) 04:58, 7 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I've uploaded an example here: File:Splatfest template at lower res.png ~SuperHamster Talk 19:25, 7 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
For the protection, I forgot that the discussion page has an edit button that means something different than on the template. Thank you for updating the Japan slot. You misread what I mean by the timer, as I was more referring to UvS having passed, though I see now that there was never a working timer for prior to the event. I did miss where you said about a screenshot, but I thought that a detailed description with the settings used would suffice. Either way, it does look like some changes were made that mostly fixes the spacing issue. --SgvSth (talk) 02:17, 8 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yes, SuperHamster fixed it for us. Aegis (talk) 03:30, 8 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I've removed the images for now - as Eli mentioned, the boxes do not line up correctly at most resolutions, and the latter columns would cut off on smaller resolutions. I've also removed the "Time Until next Splatfest" column, since it didn't appear to be implemented yet and is useless until we do get the next date. I also added flags for the different regions. We should draft up a working responsive version in a sandbox before implementing it live, if we still want all the images. ~SuperHamster Talk 19:18, 7 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

We could put smaller images now tht I see the way you've set it up; which seems better. Aegis (talk) 19:28, 7 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

NA Splatfest Image

I used an image from the official tumblr as a placeholder (File:North American Splatfest Autobots vs Decepticons.jpg), but could someone get a better image of the Autobots vs Transformers ballot image so the Splatfests can appear more uniform on the template? I can't find a decent quality image anywhere. ~CreatorGX (Talk) 20:23, 19 August 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Winner's style

I feel like the bolding of winners is not always very clear, especially on large screens where the bolding effect is not that great. Therefore I think it would be a good idea to have winners in another style other than just bold. Maybe underline or coloured, or maybe strikeout the losing team. Thoughts?

I think coloring the text would work. I don't know what color though... Maybe orange to match the box? I was gonna say green cuz, like, Inkipedia, but then they would just look like links. 😅 --Bzeep! talk 11:54, 17 November 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Not sure on the colour either as a red colour would suggest "bad" result - i.e. the team lost. A green "good" colour, as you said, is for links. Same with link/light blue. Yellow/orange is hard to read... I would suggest team colours but then it would look like an error that one of the teams isn't coloured but the other is, rather than clearly showing winners. A purple colour would suggest Callie's team so would look weird if it was Marie's team coloured purple. Vice-versa for a light green.
Maybe a dark blue or teal e.g. Love vs. Money
Or grey-out the other team e.g. Love vs. Money

Repurpouse

Hello! I know people it has been awhile but now that the final Splatfest is over I say we should repurpouse it to a box about what is coming next! Thoughts? GogglesKunInkling(Talk|Contribs) 12:32, 24 July 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]

No. Make a new box. --Sigma talk 17:39, 24 July 2016 (UTC)Reply[reply]
