Is this page necessary?

Sorry, but I don't see why we need this page. We already have a page discussing the Squidbeak Splatoon, and a large portion in that article talks about the New Squidbeak Splatoon. The info on this page is already on other pages. I mean, I get wanting to put it all on one page, but I don't see a need to repeat THAT much information. Does anyone agree with me? Are Squidbeak Splatoon and New Squidbeak Splatoon actually separate organizations? Or is the new one just the same organization with different members? If each has its own page, then any repeated information should be removed. Heddy (talk) 13:53, 27 September 2021 (UTC)

When I asked on Discord about it yesterday, a few people said it might be a good idea to split, so I decided to just kinda go for it. In doing so, I removed all the repeated information from the original page and placed it here instead if you take a look. If you still think they should be merged back, do let me know! Marking this page for deletion

We discussed the necessity of this page above, and I believe we came to the conclusion that this page isn't really needed (correct me if I'm wrong, please). I already moved over all of the info to the Squidbeak Splatoon page, so should we mark it for deletion? WoomyMcBoomy 18:28, 1 October 2021 (UTC)

I still believe that this page is necessary as the organisation continues to grow into S3, based on the initial Discord conversation we had, but then again, I'm biased because I created it, so... GloverMist (talk) 10:01, 2 October 2021 (UTC)

I am one of the people Glover mentioned who agreed to split the pages on Discord. I think they should be separate because they come from different times, have mostly different members and fought different battles. One is very lore heavy (whether or not all the relevant info is on the page is another matter) while the other focuses on events that go on in the games. Luke26 (talk) 22:27, 2 October 2021 (UTC)

Newer squidbeak splatoon

I thought that in S3 they renamed the group to the newer squidbeak splatoon. Although I did beat the game, after alterna included, in like a month or 2 after the game was released so my mind is a little bit shaky about this. BackintotheInk (talk) 19:25, 28 November 2022 (UTC)

During the introduction in Alterna the New Squidbeak Splatoon were introducing themselves as the New New Squidbeak Splatoon. However, it merely was a way of saying that there were some changes (most notably the new Captain). In the files they are called New Squidbeak Splatoon like previously in Splatoon and Splatoon 2.   Perfectionist   (talk) 19:54, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
