Confirmation

Can I ask where it was confirmed the Grizzco Blaster's fire rate was equal to the .52 Gal's? In a round where both were present, I distinctly noticed the Grizzco Blaster had the faster fire rate, while dealing more damage per shot than the Clash Blaster. --Splatzoner (talk) 19:19, 27 September 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I left a reply on your talk page. I also just created Salmon Run/Stats, a page with all the datamined values for damage, ink consumption, and fire rate. You can see the damage and fire rates of those weapons there. Heddy (talk) 01:25, 28 September 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I see; however, my personal experience did show me that the Grizzco Blaster splats a Chum in fewer shots than the Clash Blaster did, even with single shots. --Splatzoner (talk) 02:36, 28 September 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
can´t argue with datamine though

Salmon Run Lobby Situation

I've gotten Splatoon 2 for Christmas and it's amazing so far. When I've checked out the inkopolis square further, I think this building starts Salmon Run (The building behind the Octo Canyon Manhole), and when I get closer to the gate, it plays creepy Ambience of inside the building, so I began to fight for an explanation. I listened closer and I think I could hear a cry of help, but it's not enhanced so I'm not sure if I'm correct, plus when I first heard it my heart skipped a beat, so I wanted to know why that lobby is so scary.

I was thinking that if it has a real messaged played while being played enhanced, Slowed down or played backwards, I think I can explore more of that lobby. (I haven't made any progress with online battles). AsrielTheInkling (talk) 22:20, 27 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I think it's simply ambiance and nothing more. You're more than welcome to record and edit the audio to find a secret message, but I don't think this holds any significance to the page. Sigma talk 23:10, 27 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It feels like it is similar to the mysterious sounds as discovered from after defeating bosses, so that's why I thought this one also holds another message of some sort. AsrielTheInkling (talk) 00:01, 28 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Game Reference?

I was wrong about Grizzco Industries and the ambience being scary. The reason is because my father linked an Nintendo account for my brother and he got the industry to open. We both finished the 2 tutorials, and we took turns of each round. During our gameplay, I was starting to question that if Salmon Run is a reference to Call of Duty Zombies.

Think about it, I've been seeing YouTube videos about Call of Duty Zombie Bosses which confuses me and always gets me thinking, "There are bosses in Call of Duty Zombies??" which could represent one or each of the 7 bosses (I think there are 7 bosses in Salmon Run).

Another thing is that when an inkling is down, they can be revived by shooting ink at them. While it's not similar to Call of Duty which the only way to revive players is with a vaccine, but while their down the downed player doesn't have much time to stay in the round and can still fire a weapon, but not for Salmon Run. Times

Please can someone tell me what's happening with the times? They changed after British Daylight Saving Time, so that put it forward an hour, from 06:00 to 07:00, so why have they gone back two hours? Would be very grateful if someone could answer this. Adster1005       21:27, 18 April 2018 (UTC)

I live in a timezone that doesn't experience daylight savings, and the times that the shifts start and end has been very consistently at the 2 o'clock / 8 o'clock hours for me. If you're talking about the displayed times of all shifts in general, I can't help you there... If you're referring to the upcoming shift, it seems to be the only one at an unusual hour (12pm to 6pm the next day for me), while the other shifts following it are scheduled for the usual times. Not sure why the time for only that one particular is weird. Could be nothing, could be for an update, who knows. Rassicas {Talk} {Contribs}

Tables for quota and paygrade

Should there be a subsection that lists tables of all the paygrades in relation to rank as seen here, and also a table that lists the possible quota in relation to the sum of 4 Profreshional players' rank found here, on this page? Or are these better fit for the Salmon Run/Stats page? --Hinamin (talk) 17:37, 30 April 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

temple of ark Polaris

you forgot to describe the low tide of ark Polaris! also, if you think that the name of it sounds like a smash ult. wol area, please type {}! Woomy1 (talk) 20:07, 17 January 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Just something I thought of

Would there be any other Grizzco weapons? Inkling project paintball font eleven23.png Inkling project paintball font eleven23 talk.png 06:53, 20 February 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I realize that this was created before the "final update" but if you are still curious, I do not think so.--Randomwoomy009 (talk) 21:31, 10 June 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

No there are no other weapons in salmon run Seven (talk) 04:03, 15 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Gear post August 2019

The comment about the gear being after August 2019 being randomised is not quite correct - the gear looks to be available in the order it was made available originally, moving to the next item each shift. BenDTU (talk) 01:31, 14 August 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Fixed! Thanks for bringing this up. GloverMist (talk) 10:58, 14 August 2019 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Have you noticed this about the salmon run stages?

Have you all noticed that all of the salmon run stages except for ark polaris have some kind of food or cooking supplies around it? Like in the spawning grounds, we can see some kind of citrus fruit hanging from a wire between two poles, as well as what looks like sausage and a pitchfork in the right side of the background. In marooner's bay, we can see multiple utensils around the stage, as well as some fruit slices and sausages on a tower in the background. In lost outpost, we can see in the background multiple steaming pots and pans, and in salmonid smokeyard, we see two big sausages stuck on a tower. Should we add this fact to the page, as well as other pages? WoomyMcBoomy (talk) 22:17, 15 March 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Salmon Run schedule

Would it be a good idea to put the Salmon Run schedule onto this page? I was thinking of putting it either on the very top, or maybe after Description, but I wanted your opinions first. dedf1sh07[talk]S2 Gear Headgear Golden Toothpick.png 02:56, 2 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It's already on the Main Page. I don't see why we would duplicate it somewhere else. The Salmon Run page is supposed to be an encyclopedia-like article. The Main Page is where people go if they want to see the schedule, as all the schedules are there. Heddy (talk) 09:21, 2 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Same rare weapon all three rounds?

So recently I was playing salmon run on professional and it was random weapon, and so when I spawned in spawning grounds I had the grizzco charger. I checked the weapons the rest of the team had and they all also had grizzco charger. It was weird. When the first round ended and we got our new weapons, we all still had the grizzco charger!! After the second round, we went to the last one we still had the grizzco charger!! It was so weird. Has this happened to anyone else or only me?OCTOd2 (talk) 13:35, 18 January 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

On random I've had a whole team with the same weapon on one round, but never for all 3 with the same weapon, especially a Grizzco one. That's strange, maybe a glitch? Btw, was it random with the green ? or yellow, because if it was yellow it's less crazy, since then all the weapons will be Grizzco and there's more of a chance of that happening. Salmon Run: Next Wave (Splatoon 3)

Should we make a new page entirely for SRNW? It seems there's going to be a fair amount of differences between the 2, so keeping it in 2 pages might help organization and clarity. Colorized (talk) 01:24, 10 February 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

That's a good idea, but since it was announced just a few hours ago, I think we should add a bit more information first. SplatonGamer (talk) 01:36, 10 February 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'll wait for a mod or someone else to make the page then. I think sooner rather than later would be better, just so people don't go adding info about S3's Salmon Run in the middle of all the info about S2's here. Colorized (talk) 01:47, 10 February 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
By the way, you can always create the page yourself to start it off, and then other users will edit and improve them. SplatonGamer (talk) 03:19, 10 February 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Agreed. Further down the line I think there should be a separate page for Splatoon 2's Salmon Run (weapon data, item drops, etc), and have this page as more of a broad description of the mode/some details. ~~~~ Theangrygrunt (talk) 03:03, 10 February 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
i also think that Next Wave needed a page for itself. Especially that there's actually some piece of information from the trailer at the SplatoonJP Twitter, but haven't been officially translated yet. Samurottlover (talk) 03:30, 10 February 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
