Minus one hour of Splatfest due to Daylight Savings Time?

I recently checked the Splatfest's start & end times on the voting booth in the Square and the times are 5pm (CDT) to 4pm (CDT) because Nov. 1 is Daylight Savings Time in America. I think this Splatfest is going to be 47 hours long due to this IMO. Can someone verify this? Thanks! P.J. GT (talk) 17:44, 30 October 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Here in the UK, it's still listed as the 48 hours - 10pm to 10pm - as our clocks have already changed. So I think that's just a quirk of the time changing thing? GloverMist (talk) 18:03, 30 October 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

OK. When is Daylight Savings Time in your country? P.J. GT (talk) 18:07, 30 October 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Well... In the Nintendo News article announcing the Splatfest, it says the Splatfest starts 6PM EST and ends at 5PM EST. Eminence Chatter 18:19, 30 October 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Our clocks went back a week before yours did: last Sunday instead of this Sunday. GloverMist (talk) 18:43, 30 October 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Technically I'm fairly sure that the Splatfest still last 24 hours because the time goes back an hour so they need to end the Splatfest an hour early. Eminence Chatter 18:45, 30 October 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
