Team Glasses

Team Glasses is a team of Inklings from the Splatoon manga. The team consists of mainly second-in-commands who all have one thing in common - they all wear eyepieces. The team consists of Half-Rim, Aviators, Full Moon Glasses, and Swim Goggles. They first battled in a match against Team Blue directly after the ranked battle cup arc.

Description

Half-Rim

Half-Rim is a male Inkling with the "Hipster" hairstyle. He wears the Half-Rim Glasses, Pink Easy-Stripe Shirt, and Shark Moccasins. He wears the drawstring cargo pants and wields the Splatterscope. He is also on Team Gloves.

Aviators

Aviators is a male Inkling with the "Topknot" hairstyle. He wears the 18K Aviators, Squid Satin Jacket, and Choco Clogs. He wields the L-3 Nozzlenose as his main weapon. He is also on Team Purple.

Full Moon Glasses

Full Moon Glasses is a female Inkling with the "Hippie" hairstyle. She wears the Full Moon Glasses, Squidmark Sweat, and Punk Yellows. She wields the Luna Blaster as her main weapon. She is also on Team Cyan.

Swim Goggles

Swim Goggles is a male Inkling with the "Slick" hairstyle. He wears the Swim Goggles, Vintage Check Shirt, and Midnight Slip-Ons. His main weapon is the Squeezer. It is unknown if he is on another team.

Personality

Half-Rim

Half-Rim is a very straight character, with very little humor getting through his personality. He considers Team Glasses as hard to get into, kicking Specs out of the "Glasses Society", as Full Moon Glasses calls it, after Specs was inactive for a long period of time.

Aviators

While being a side character, not much is known about his personality.

Full Moon Glasses

Being a side character, not much is known about her personality. Much like her leader, she tends to laugh creepily and stay in the shadows during turf wars.

Swim Goggles

As a side character, not much is known about his personality. He does seem to care for his friends, and sees Specs as a mentor, as he calls him his "senpai" (Japanese honorific normally meant for a senior colleague). He also seems to be self confident, as he is confident he can win every battle and that he is happy when his weapon confuses his opponents.

Trivia

• It was Half-Rim's idea to hold a practice match after Specs came back.
• Their group chat icons are all glasses, so they have a hard time figuring out who's who from time to time.
• The only member who is not second in command of their team is Swim Goggles (not counting Specs, an original member of team Glasses who is leader of his team).
• Specs was originally a member of the team, but was kicked out by Half-Rim due to Specs not having been with the other members for a while.
