| brand | Unnamed | Required | The brand name. |
| number | Unnamed | Required | The number of items in this brand's category. |
| s | Unnamed | Required (may be empty) | If s is present, indicates that this brand exists in Splatoon.

| s2 | Unnamed | Required (may be empty) | If s2 is present, indicates that this brand exists in Splatoon 2.
|
| s3 | Unnamed | Required (may be empty) | If s3 is present, indicates that this brand exists in Splatoon 3.

| number_weapons | Unnamed | Optional | If present, indicates that this brand creates weapons in addition to gear and will show their number. |
