Template:User Splatfest

From Inkipedia, the Splatoon wiki

This template is for indicating what team a user picked for a Splatfest. There are many parameters, and the template will operate differently depending on what game is selected. All parameters are extremely case sensitive, so be cautious when filling out information.

{{User Splatfest
|game=
|splatfest=
|team=
|ext=
|victory=
|teamcolor=
|link=
|textcolor=
}}
  • game — This is self explanatory.
  • splatfest — This is the exact name of the intended Splatfest to cover, but for Splatoon 1 only, do so without periods after "vs".
  • team — The team the user picked to play for.
  • ext — Defaults to png. Some Splatoon 1 files are jpg instead, and adding "jpg" to this parameter should fix the issue.
  • victory — Specify whether the chosen team won or not. Not filling this parameter simply states that the team was selected. Use won for winning and lost for losing.
  • teamcolor — Usually, color fills in based off of the input for team, but for repeating or regional splatfests, color must be entered manually as found in Template:InkColor.
  • link — For Splatoon 1 links, or other errors that need manually ironed out, this changes the link to the correct destination.
  • textcolor — Defaults to black, and while black should be legible against all backgrounds, this remains an option to change if desired or required.

For Splatoon 1

All Splatoon 1 uses need to use splatfest with no period for vs, link for the correct team name, and occasionally use ext for switching files to be jpg. Images are derived from the splatfest entry, and the link is derived from the link parameter. Colors are derived from the team name.

Other examples

All other cases do not need the link or ext parameters, as files/colors are derived from the team name instead.
