When I tried putting it on the Wiki, it didn't register any of the color changes and instead every color came out as invalid. Superjustinbros (talk) 14:53, 8 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I fixed your smart quotes messing up the code and added dark fuchsia. Appears to be working. Slate Talk Contribs 18:47, 10 July 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Help Needed

I found what color is closest to Ika Musume's hair color that was added in the new update; #00AAE4. Problem is I don't know how to use it as a custom even though I tried, any help? Elite Octoling (talk) 13:14, 30 August 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

No worries, I'll try to figure it out. --Sigma talk 13:16, 30 August 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Okay, it's all done. Feel free to change anything you're unhappy with. --Sigma talk 13:19, 30 August 2015 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Splatfest neutral colors

Hey! I'd like to add the neutral colors for splatfests, but this raises two questions / problems:

  1. Information availability:
I currently only have access to the neutral color of the current upcoming Splatfest (Action vs Comedy, #b44aef) and one past one (Vampires vs Werewolves, #00140e). That leaves a lot of them unrepresented.
    • First option: try and find (maybe by contacting people who have apps running on top of the API, e.g. twitter bots) older json files to get them from. This might fail, especially for the older / S1 splatfests.
    • Second option: use approximations from the artwork (though these usually prove to be not-quite-exact).
    • Third option: leave the ones that are missing out of the list.
    • Fourth option: don't post anything unless we have all the info.
  2. Naming
    • How should these be named? The "obvious" name (e.g. "splatfest action vs comedy neutral") is really long, especially with some splatfests where each side is long in itself.
Would that be okay? Maybe another option? I don't want the template page to be unreadable

Thanks! - Inkrid (talk) 13:04, 8 January 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

There shouldn't be any problem with making those additions, just to get things started. Heddy (talk) 05:51, 10 January 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Two Team Sweet colors

When we consider adding the Ink Colors from the Spicy vs. Sweet vs. Sour Splatfest, we *have* to consider the fact that there will now be *two* Team Sweet Colors (The other being from S2's Salty vs. Sweet). So hopefully there will be a workaround for this soon. Just bringing this up before there's a problem! Stay fresh, and good luck in the Splatfest! Sincerely, P.J. This is not a first that a side shares the same name across multiple installments. In this case the new color for sweet will have a s3 behind it.   Perfectionist   (talk) 16:46, 16 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
