Im in mobile and forgot the collapsible sections, so it's open for now.

Here are some things that should get new pages, or be expanded on if it's not enough content:

  • DJ Octavio. He is the first boss and it works largely the same as in 1 without missiles of any kind
  • Frye (Boss), Shiver (Boss), Big Man (Boss)
    • Side note, Shiver was mentioned with "her". Didn't screenshot, but that's what NoA meant
  • Shiver's shark, Master [insert name], doesn't need its own page. Maybe redirect to Shiver (Boss)
  • Deep Cut have the idol career as a day job. They prefer banditing so they can give back to the poor people of Splatsville
  • Mr. Grizz (boss). If you don't know yet, he is a huge bear. And you fight him in space. Rassicas I'm sorry. He also does a killer wail with his mouth
    • You use Golden Eggs instead of Power Eggs to fire little buddy and eat the fuzzy ink in this fight, btw
  • Craig Cuttlefish (dry). Remember that dried squid we got for a promo image? Put his eyes and beard on it and you have Dry Cuttlefish. He floats around
    • Btw he dies before you fight Mr Grizz, but Captain 3's tear brings him back like that
  • O.R.C.A. There is lore behind the AI that guides you in Alterna, but I stopped reading it once I found out Frye has a boss battle and spedrun the game.
    • Also only the boss fights are mandatory in Alterna. All other stages are completely obligatory to do if you have enough Power Eggs to feed little buddy so he can clear the fuzzy ink
  • Little Buddy (large). It helps you foght off Mr. Grizz.
  • DJ Octavio in the Mr Grizz fight. He brings his mech into space with an Ink Vac and you suck off Mr Grizz's fuzzy ink.
  • Earth, circa the time of Splatoon. We have a map in Ammo Knights, the whole earth modeled in the final boss, and also the new dev interview

Appearance

Credits art of a female Agent 3.
Credits art of a male Agent 3.

Agent 3 can have a variety of appearances in Splatoon, depending on the player's choice of gender, skin color, and eye color, as well as their current ink color. They wear the Hero Suit and can pick up armor to wear as well. They wield the Hero Shot by default but can use the Hero Charger or Hero Roller for amiibo challenges.

In the Octo Expansion, Agent 3 has the same customization options as in Splatoon and wears a torn dark gray cape with the number three in Inkling.

In Splatoon 3, Agent 3, now adressed as Captain, takes on the appearance chosen in the Octo Expansion if the player decides to carry over their save data bonus from Splatoon 2. If no save data is carried over or isn't available at all they take on the appearance of a female with the middle skin tone and green eyes during their introduction. Afterwards, the player is able to change their appearance at any time with the same customisation options as in Splatoon. As Captain they wear the Cap of Legend in combination with their Hero Headset, tattered clothes like Cap'n Cuttlefish over a grey shirt, tattered black pants, and new Flip-Flops in the same style as the Hero Suit. Additionally, they have scars on both tips of their hair.

Personality and traits

Agent 3 seems to be more serious than any of the other New Squidbeak Splatoon members. They never back down from a fight, as seen in the Inner Agent 3 battle. Agent 3 is often depicted to not be smiling in contrast to other Inklings. Agent 3 also seems to be very good at using the Hero Shot and Autobombs, mainly the Autobomb Launcher. Agent 3, like playable Octolings, is affected by the Calamari Inkantation; it spurred Agent 3 to defeat DJ Octavio after Agents 1 and 2 revealed their identities as Callie and Marie, respectively. In Splatoon 3, even as Captain they don't speak either using gestures or letting Agents 1 and 2 do the talking instead. When the new Agent 3 tries to speak with them, Agent 2 points out that this is due to shyness and that it should not be taken personally.

Alpha, Bravo and Charlie

Deep Cut is a band in Splatoon 3 as well as bosses in the games single player campaign, Return of the Mammalians. It is a trio composed of an Octoling named Shiver, an Inkling named Frye, and a manta ray[1] named Big Man.

They are the hosts of Anarchy Splatcast, the news show of Splatsville, and also host Splatfests, with Frye, Shiver, and Big Man each representing one of the three teams in every Splatfest, fulfilling the roles of the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook from the previous Splatoon games. During broadcasts, Shiver and Frye take seats on cushions on the ground on the left and face the audience, while Big Man holds a large TV on the right on which news announcements appear, also facing the audience. They can be found to the left of the lobby Tower in Splatoon 3.

Anarchy Rainbow and Now or Never! are currently Deep Cut's only known named songs. There are two Splatfest battle songs by them, but they are not yet named.

Shiver is a character in Splatoon 3 and one of the three members of the band Deep Cut, alongside Frye and Big Man, with whom she co-hosts both Anarchy Splatcast, the news show of Splatsville, and Splatfests. Bravo

Frye is a character in Splatoon 3 and one of the three members of the band Deep Cut, alongside Shiver and Big Man, with whom she co-hosts both Anarchy Splatcast, the news show of Splatsville, and Splatfests. She is also one of the bosses in the single player campaign, Return of the Mammalians. Her signature color is yellow.

Charlie

Big Man is a character in Splatoon 3 and one of the three members of the band Deep Cut, alongside Shiver and Frye, with whom he co-hosts both Anarchy Splatcast, the news show of Splatsville, and Splatfests. He is also one of the bosses in the single player campaign, Return of the Mammalians. He speaks by saying the word "ay," followed by a translation of what he is saying in brackets. His signature colors are grey, red and turquoise.
