The Octarian Surface Research Organization were an Organization of the Octarian Army with the objective of the Research and Analysis of the Inklings Life on the surface. They counted with 10,000 octarians at service at the time of their final mission, the Operation Eight, with the objective to steal the Great Zapfish.
History
OSRO (Octarian Surface Research Organization) Formed
As a strategy of DJ Octavio for the take of Inkopolis and the star of the Octarians life in the surface, the Octarian Army formed the OSRO. First there only were a Squadron of 6 Octolings, with 2 at charge, but later DJ Octavio assigned more Octarians to the Organization. Their first mission occured in the Inkopolis Plaza, during afternoon, 10 Octolings spied the Inklings during 6 hours, but then 3 Inklings discovered them and they got splatted.
A second try took place in Inkopolis Square, 15 Octolings (5 or them with Octo Shots) spied the Inklings Life during 7 hours, they were caught by 5 Inklings during Hour 3, but thanks to the Armed Octolings the Inklings got Splatted.
Thanks to the research data collected DJ Octavio were able to create some weapons like the Octo Brella or the Octo Blaster, but with some changes.
OSRO Gets Popularity within the Octarians
Thanks to the successful mission of the OSRO, the Octarians voted for a rise of the OSRO from "Not so important" to "Important Level 3" as it will be esencial for the creation of weapons to fight the Inklings and expand their society.
100 Octarian Soldiers Aspired for the OSRO, only 75 passed. Just like that OSRO started growing and it got to be a huge organization.
The Second Mission Ocurred on Hammerhead Bridge, for vigilating the Inklings way of transportation. 5 Armed Octolings got to the Bridge and pasted 10 "Research Suction (RS)", some "Suction Bomb" like artefacts that helps with some researches just like the Transportation Research, thanks to the Radiation of the Cars that they can read. This Research helped the creation of the Octo Cars for Octo Canyon and Octo Valley.
