Off the Hook

Let me explain. Off the Hook's Dutch, French, German, and Italian names do not only resemble but they are nearly identical to the Pokémon Tentacool's name, only differing with capitalization, space and hyphens. Your reference you are suggesting is much more loose. It plays, as far as I understand it, on that Marina is the same as Harbor and therefore is a reference to Pearl Harbor. This is not only farfetched but also obscure and irrelevant since there is no real reason for Off the Hook to reference Pearl Harbor to my knowledge. The Pokémon Tentacool on the other hand is an octopus like the members in Off the Hook. --Raltseye prata med mej 18:25, 6 May 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I concede that is a good explanation. Though about there being no reason for Off the Hooks name being a reference to Pearl Harbour, Nintendo is a Japanese company, and it would be, admit-ably humorous that they would reference a successful (in the short term) preemptive attack by the Japanese on an American naval base, bringing the US into the second world war. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Focus Tree (talkcontribs)
Yes, though bear in mind that Pearl and Marina is the American localization and not present in the original.
Also don't forget to sign your comment with four tildes (~). --Raltseye prata med mej 22:42, 6 May 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Alright thanks. Focus Tree (talk) 14:08, 7 May 2018 (UTC)Focus TreeReply[reply]

Hm I meant future messages. You made it look like you wrote that reply before mine :P Also you do not need to write your name or anything else sincevthe four tildes is automaticaly replaced with your name, a link to your talk page, and a date stamp. --Raltseye prata med mej 16:18, 7 May 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'll remember that for later. Focus Tree (talk) 14:30, 8 May 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Your edit to Version 4.3.1

Hi, you reverted my edit so I will explain why it was correct. The time zone in use on Inkipedia is universal time (UTC), not PST. The given release time of 2018-12-19 10:00 JST converts to 2018-12-19 01:00 UTC, so please stop changing the release date to 2018-12-18, as it was correct in the first place. Also, you removed a reliable source and replaced it with one that does not provide the exact time of release, but instead an estimate that turned out to be an hour off from reality. Heddy (talk) 18:43, 20 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Very well, but I believe that the official Nintendo support page is also a reliable source, no? Focus Tree (talk) 21:13, 20 December 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I wouldn't say it's reliable for release time info. For whatever reason they just posted an estimate instead of the actual release time, and their estimate ended up being an hour off from when everyone was able to start downloading the update. Also, they remove the release time for a given update as soon as the next update is posted, making it less useful as a permanent reference. It's still linked at the bottom of the page of course, due to the fact that it's the source for the patch notes. Thanks for your attention to this matter! Good job!

Hey there! I was looking at the recent changes, and noticed you edited all the rarities before I got to them. Thanks, and good job, that probably took a while!   ArivakiVA   S2 Gear Headgear Golden Toothpick.png JPTGoldDynamoRoller.png S3 Badge Classic Squiffer 5.png (talk) 22:49, 6 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

No problem, I was planning to do the rest as well, if it's not a bother. FOCUS TREE (talk) 01:54, 7 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Go ahead! I've been pretty busy, so thanks again! :)   ArivakiVA   S2 Gear Headgear Golden Toothpick.png JPTGoldDynamoRoller.png S3 Badge Classic Squiffer 5.png (talk) 18:06, 7 December 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

April Fools Edits

Hi! I just wanted to comment about your April Fools edit. As far as I am aware, the Inkipedia does not condone changes in the content of the wiki for April Fools jokes; I have seen discussions about changing the Inkipedia's Main Page which does not have anything to do with the content on the wiki... but jokes on the wiki pages could be considered vandalism... but, you didn't do it out of mean spirit, so I don't think anyone will hold it against you.

Just wanted to add, if you're playing Splatoon 3, happy splatfest! HatedS3 Badge E-liter 4K 5.png 04:03, 1 April 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
