Some questions

I saw your signature and was prompted to make mine cooler. I don't know how tho!!! Also, I dont know about uploading files. Whenever I try, It just writes the png. Hi there! Let's go through your three points.

1) If you click on the 'Preferences' link at the top of any page, you will find your signature settings under the default 'User profile' tab. Here, you can type in any wikicode to make it appear as your sig, so be sure to test it in advance first. For example, mine is <span style="font-family:Splatoon2">[[User:GloverMist|GloverMist]] ([[User talk:GloverMist|talk]])</span> and it prints as the sig you see here. You can find more at our signature policy.

2) I'm not sure what you mean about uploading files. There is a link on the sidebar marked 'Upload file' where you can choose any file on your device to upload. You can then look at the code of other pages to see examples of how to place files in pages, or see our image guidelines for more info.

3) Remember, you need to be consistently productive and trusted on the wiki for a long time to become a patroller, and it is often suggested by other members of staff rather than yourself. For example, I was working on the wiki for 1 year and 4 months before I was considered! Just keep at it if you're really serious!

Hi there! Blogs are essentially pages outside of the mainspace where you can write about whatever you want that's Splatoon-related! They're not particularly active right now, but you can do whatever you want with them, within reason. Yeah, that's fine! Our signature policy says that you may not include "any part of the signature, including images, larger than 30 pixels in height", so it may be a bit hard to see but it'll be allowed at that size. GloverMist (talk) 21:59, 24 October 2020 (UTC)

About the gallery

From a bit of detective work, it seems that the categories to add a page to the list of all Splatfests appears automatically when using the "Splatfest result box" template, as you have on User:Redacted Squid/Minifest. They'd need to be re-uploaded to be rotated the correct way up at the very least, but we would generally prefer a direct digital scan of the pages. Yes, I am British, and yes, the wiki is written in American English when in the mainspace. It takes a bit of adjusting but there are a few rules that can be remembered when doing it. Also, I've mentioned this before, but please use colons when replying to people like I am. It helps make the flow of conversation so much easier to see.
