Formatting

Thanks for helping with the weapon pages, if you format the weapon pages, make sure to move their quotes of in-game description, Squid Research Lab quotes and Sheldon Quotes to a new page called Weapon's Name/Quotes. The Splatoon sections are in italic by the way. That way the page will look much cleaner and less crowded with words. The formatting guide can be seen here on what sections need to be in each weapon's page. Thank you. ShaharSig2.pngShaharSigtalk2.png 06:26, 28 November 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

OK, thanks for letting me know. Kyubz Sig.png 14:24, 28 November 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Your recent video uploads

Did you edit these videos yourself?

I'm asking because I think you should consider uploading in a better file format. If you exported the video as an .MP4 file, it would look better and have a much lower file size. Your target file size should be 2MB. But regardless of what you do, thanks for the contribution! Heddy (talk) 01:30, 1 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Here's an example of a high quality video someone uploaded: File:ShiftyStation MayoKetchup Animation.mp4. Though I think my estimation of a good target file size might be wrong, it's probably a lot bigger than 2MB for the type of videos you uploaded. Heddy (talk) 01:51, 1 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I downloaded .mp4 files from the Splatoon 2 official website and then converted them into .gifs. All of the .mp4 files are bigger than 2MB except for one. The largest is 2.94MB. Should I upload the .mp4s and we delete the .gifs? Regardless, thanks for telling me. Kyubz Sig.png 14:50, 1 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yes the higher quality of the original files you downloaded would be preferred. Use {{Delete|Reason here.}} to request deletion of the old ones once you have successfully uploaded their replacements. Heddy (talk) 22:37, 1 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Done.

Nice. They look much better and smoother. Now all you need to do is actually put them in their respective articles! Heddy (talk) 00:17, 2 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Image size

Hi, Just to note that you can get much larger images from Tumblr: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/31873-use-tumblr-raw-image Even without the script to automatically replace all URLs with the AWS-hosted _raw versions, just click the image to get the _1280 versions, instead of the _400 versions you've been uploading (e.g. 1, 2, 3). –Eli (talk) 14:15, 2 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thanks for telling me. I didn't even really realize mine were so small. I'll keep that in mind for next time. Kyubz Sig.png 02:50, 3 December 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The images (from the Tumblr, per the filenames) you uploaded for Shellendorf Institute were 720px wide. I've now uploaded the full 1080px versions. Just a note. :D –Eli (talk) 11:06, 12 January 2018 (UTC)Reply[reply]
