Octo-Wiki Expansion Discussion
This space is for discussing how to improve the current Octarians wiki entry here on the Inkipedia. The goal is to create several new sections, including, though not necessarily limited to:
1.) A section detailing the species appearance and biological characteristics, including their growth and reproductive cycle (what has been revealed anyway)
2.) A detailed yet still easy to read history of the species from their origins prior to the events of the games all the way to present.
3.) A section dealing with the unique characteristics of Octarian culture, government and society, including the differences between the Octarians of Octo Valley/Octo Canyon and other Octarians such as those living in Inkopolis and the Sanitized Octarians.
The references for all this information though MUST come from official sources. "Official sources" in this context meaning things such as:
- Both Splatoon video games
- The official artbooks
- official (and reliably translated) developer interviews
- The official Splatoon manga
- any other officially licensed products that provide canonical or semi-canonical information on the Octarians or Octarian characters(such as liner notes found in the official soundtracks for instance)
We may also need to upload some new images to accompany each new section to illustrate some of the information contained therein. Octo-maker71 (talk) 02:31, 3 October 2018 (UTC)
