Don't mention it. I appreciate your note since some dialogues were really hard to find (Barbarian vs. Ninja was really challenging) and I will continue to work on expanding this wiki in the best way I can. With the last challenging dialogue (World Tour vs. Space Adventure) in my grasp I can confirm that all German announcements and results have been found and it is only a matter of time before they can also be found on the wiki.

I will also add the dialogue from before and after Splatfests. Next up will be Splatoon 2's Splatfests and other things that need translating. Perfectionist (talk) 09:49, 5 May 2022 (UTC)

Don't talk to vandals.

Be advised that communicating/arguing with a vandal in edit summaries or talk pages will ALWAYS make them want to come back to vandalize more. It is best to just be quiet and just put something like just "Vandalism" in your undo edit summaries and report to an admin, as they will eventually get bored in the long run. Believe me, this has happened to me before (PROBABLY the same person 😡, due to all the lewd content they love posting) in Summer 2020! Think of it as a "Don't Feed the Animals" scenario.

Question...

For the Squid Sisters & Off the Hook's ages, does it mean the time between the "beginning of S2" and the "start of S3?" The 1 and a half years passing was a missunderstanding. The tweet only mentioned rapid developement since one and a half years after Chaos vs. Order. Patroller rights

Congratulations on receiving patroller rights! You will now have:

• Exclamation points on the recent changes page, next to each un-reviewed edit.
• A [mark as reviewed] button on diff pages. Click it after you have reviewed an edit, so that other staff members know that all necessary review and action has been completed for that edit.
  • For more details, see Inkipedia's patrolling guide.
• A rollback button on the recent changes page. It instantly reverts multiple edits to a page. This should only be used for reverting vandalism and spam, because it doesn't have the option of leaving an edit summary.
  • You can add a confirmation prompt to this button (to prevent accidental clicks) at: Special:Preferences > Appearance > Show a confirmation prompt when clicking on a rollback link

You may add your details to the staff list.

First, thank you for the kind words and support (it didn't go unnoticed). And regarding colored signatures, I recommend you either look at the signatures section in my sandbox or look at my signature itself. Since I took notice of your message, I objectively went over all questions to see if I find myself truly fit to possibly become an admin on Inkipedia. But in the end, I can't really judge myself and have to rely on the opinion of others. Admin rights

Congratulations on receiving admin rights! You will now have:

• All the functions of a patroller. Patrolling is a shared responsibility of all Inkipedia staff. Press the [mark as reviewed] button for every edit that you review. For more details, see Inkipedia's patrolling guide.
  • If you see someone who qualifies for autopatrol, you can promote them to reduce the amount of edits that need to be patrolled.
• The right to delete pages. Make sure you understand the deletion policy before deleting pages.
• The right to protect pages. You can protect pages to prevent some user groups from editing the page.
• The right to block abusive users from editing. Make sure to read the blocking guidelines before issuing any blocks.
  • Remember to communicate with users! You can write messages with your own words or use a template when appropriate. The relevant templates are Template:Warning and Template:Blocked.
  • Block tools and logs: Special:Block, Special:BlockList, Special:Log/block
• Many other tools.
• A bold dark green username on the recent changes page.

So a while back I made a topic on the glitches talk page about some more glitches that were referenced other places on the wiki (and one that I found about Steel Eels). Regarding Side Order icon...

Just wanted to ask if you did check the talk page, and also the icon used in the SplatNet 3 app for Side Order, which is the closest we currently have to a proper icon. LatiusAuro (talk) 18:44, 2 March 2024 (UTC)

The Icons used are the ones you see on the map selection screen in respective installment of the games. Side Order itself is entered through the train station and has no such icon on the map.   Perfectionist   (talk) 18:49, 2 March 2024 (UTC)

Indeed, but that's not my point. My point is that, the SplatNet 3 icon for Return of the Mammalians is based on the map icon for it, and the Side Order icon in SplatNet 3 is of the Pearl Drone. LatiusAuro (talk) 18:55, 2 March 2024 (UTC)

I know what you are getting at, but if there is no icon used in-game then there simply isn't one used. SplatNet 3 might have the Pearl Drone as an icon but SplatNet 2 isn't using C.Q. Cumber for the Octo Expansion as well.   Perfectionist   (talk) 12:48, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
