Sizzle Season 2024 is the upcoming eighth season in Splatoon 3.
Announcement
Sizzle Season 2024 was announced on 16 May 2024 on the @SplatoonNA and @SplatoonJP Twitter accounts. A higher-quality trailer was also uploaded to Nintendo's official North American and Japanese YouTube accounts.
Weapons
Two brand new main weapons, including two alternate variants, have been announced:
- Wellstring V - A new Stringer-type weapon which fires 5 projectiles. The reticles converge during the first charge, and diverge during the second charge. It comes with Autobomb and Ultra Stamp.
- Custom Wellstring V - A Custom branded variant of the Wellstring V, that comes with Point Sensor and Wave Breaker.
- Mint Decavitator - A new Splatana-type weapon with heavier movement, a slow horizontal slash, a fast horizontal charged slash and long charge distance. It comes with Suction Bomb and Big Bubbler.
- A variant of the Mint Decavitator using "sumi" (which could mean charcoal or squid ink) toothpaste rather than mint; it comes with Splash Wall and Inkjet.
Six new weapon variants have been announced:
- Bamboozler 14 Mk II with Fizzy Bomb and Super Chump.
- Custom Hydra Splatling with Splattercolor Screen.
- A new Heavy Edit Splatling variant with Crab Tank.
- A new Douser Dualies FF variant with Triple Inkstrike.
- Recycled Brella 24 Mk II with Toxic Mist and Triple Splashdown.
- Custom Range Blaster with Splat Bomb and Kraken Royale.
Gear
- Black zippered hood with pictures of leaves and a hard boiled egg stitched to each side.
- A black sleeping mask made by Emberz.
- An orange cap with white text outlined with pink.
- A white hat with a colored loop at the top.
- A colored cap with a black strip and two feathers.
- A red hoodie with an image at the front.
- A navy jersey with brown sleeves. Made by Splash Mob.
- A black shirt with white stripes.
- A light blue and white version of the OB Gaiter Waders with yellow show laces.
- Brown shoes with a tan grid.

Events
- A new Salmon Run Next Wave event called BIG Big Run will be introduced in Sizzle Season 2024.
- During BIG Big Run, all previous Big Run stages will be available to play.
- All three King Salmonids will appear at the same time as The Triumvirate.

- New music:
- The band SashiMori will return.
- A new song by SashiMori, Amalgamania, will be added as a song that may play during multiplayer matches.
