The Steel Helm is headgear in the Splatoon series.
It is a 2-star item produced by amiibo and comes with the primary ability Special Charge Up. It is only available from the Octoling Boy amiibo. It cannot be ordered from another player.
Appearance
The Steel Helm is a steel medieval knight's helmet. It comes complete with a mouth guard and a pair of fins on its top. There are some swirl designs just above the gap for the wearer's eyes and a gold strip going in between the two fins.
Splatoon 2
Abilities
The Steel Helm comes with Special Charge Up as the primary ability. As a 2-star item, the Steel Helm comes with two additional slots for secondary abilities, which may be increased to a maximum of three slots with a Super Sea Snail for each slot. Since it is made by the amiibo gear brand, it has equal chances to roll any secondary ability.
Trivia
- During the Knight vs. Wizard Splatfest, if the player was on Team Knight and they were wearing the Steel Helm and the Steel Greaves, their Splatfest Tee would change into the Steel Platemail.
