The Purple Hi-Horses are shoes in Splatoon. It is produced by the Zink clothing brand, comes with the main ability Special Duration Up, and has a 1-star rarity.

It can be purchased from Shrimp Kicks for 800 cash.

Appearance

The Purple Hi-Horses are a dark blue-purpleish color with a white Zink arrow on each side. There is a smaller version of the Zink logo above the gray lace, and around the lace is neon yellow. The soles are the same color gray as the laces.

Abilities

The Purple Hi-Horses comes with the Special Duration Up as a main ability. As it is made by the Zink brand, it has a higher chance to roll Quick Super Jump as a sub ability, but only a small chance to roll Quick Respawn.

Trivia

  • The Purple Hi-Horses were originally called "Purple Hi-tops", and had either Quick Respawn or Comeback as their main ability; the icon was rather ambiguous. They were also a 2-star item, and cost 2,000 cash instead of 800. This can be seen in an image released before Splatoon was finalized.
    • This suggests that the other types of Hi-Horses may have also been called "Hi-tops".
