Power vs. Wisdom vs. Courage is an upcoming Splatfest event in Splatoon 3. It was announced on social networks on 14 April 2023. It is the first Splatfest in the Splatoon series to be themed around the The Legend of Zelda franchise, specifically the upcoming installment, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which will be released on 12 May 2023.

Details

The Tricolor Turf War stage for this Splatfest will be Scorch Gorge. Unlike previous modifications made to stages in order to function as a Tricolor stage, Scorch Gorge's layout instead takes on the shape of the Triforce. It is unclear how players will be divided into teams while on the map.

Trivia

• The official art of features silhouettes of Ganondorf and Link as they appear in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time while the one of Princess Zelda originates from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
  • In addition, on the back of the hands of the respective characters the symbol of the Triforce of Power (Ganondorf), Triforce of Wisdom (Princess Zelda) and Triforce of Courage (Link) can be seen.
• The wooden platforms, ladders and torches connected to the stone pillars seen on the background of Scorch Gorge are a reference to Gerudo Canyon, a location in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and presumably The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

• The weapons shown in the official art correlate to their respective character; the Dynamo Roller is slow but powerful, referencing Ganondorf's attacks, the Tri-Stringer represents the Bow of Light, and the Splatana Wiper represents the Master Sword.
