The title screen is the first screen that players see when launching a Splatoon series game, as long as they have completed each game's respective tutorial. The title screens always consist of the game's logo, version number, copyright information, and a prompt telling the player to press ZL and ZR together. Additionally, in Splatoon 3, a small squid icon appears under the version number if the player has purchased Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass.
