This season will add at least 6 variants of already existing weapons and introduced 2 new weapon types for the [[Stringer]] and [[Splatana]] classes, respectively. All eight specials have been confirmed; [[Splattercolor Screen]], [[Triple Splashdown]], [[Triple Inkstrike]], [[Super Chump]], [[Kraken Royale]], [[Ultra Stamp]], [[Big Bubbler]], [[Wave Breaker]], and [[Crab Tank]]. A sub weapon has also been confirmed, being [[Splat Bomb]]. However, this is still unofficial.

*[[Wellstring V]] - a new [[stringer]]-type weapon which fires 5 projectiles that will fire closer together when half-charged and spread wider when fully charged. It comes with [[Autobomb]] and [[Ultra Stamp]].
*[[Custom Wellstring V]] - a second variant that comes with [[Point Sensor]] and [[Wave Breaker]].
*[[Mint Decavitator]] - a new [[splatana]]-type weapon with heavier movement, slow horizontal slash, fast charged slash and long charge distance.

Lunges with the Mint Decavitator send the player quite far ahead of where they started. The kit is unknown at this time.

Announcement

Sizzle Season 2024 was announced on 16 May 2024 on the @SplatoonNA and @SplatoonJP Twitter accounts. A higher-quality trailer was also uploaded to Nintendo's official North American and Japanese YouTube accounts.

  • Black zippered hood with pictures of leaves and a hard boiled egg stitched to each side.
  • A black sleeping mask made by Emberz.
  • An orange cap with white text outlined with pink.
  • A white hat with a colored loop at the top.
  • A colored cap with a black strip and two feathers.
  • A red hoodie with an image at the front.
  • A navy jersey with brown sleeves. Made by Splash Mob.
  • A black shirt with white stripes.
  • A light blue and white version of the OB Gaiter Waders with yellow show laces.
  • Brown shoes with a tan grid.
