Ryo Nagamatsu is a Japanese composer who worked at Nintendo from 2006 until 2023. Notably, he has been the sole composer for Salmon Run (including Splatoon 3's iteration), and is behind various in-game bands such as Ink Theory, Bottom Feeders and C-Side.
On May 1, 2023, just days after Splatune 3 was released, he left Nintendo.
