Template:Infobox ability Ink Resistance Up is an Ability that can be found on Gear in Splatoon. It affects the movement of an Inkling in the opponents Ink by allowing more maneuverability and speed while walking or swimming through it. This Ability is restricted to shoes as a main ability.
In-Depth Ability
Allows quicker movement when in enemy ink, allowing some weapons, such as the Inkbrush and Octobrush, to move quickly, regardless of sharp turns. It cannot be rolled as an ability for extra slots on gear.
Use
When on a player's shoes, the ability will be active throughout the entire match, and is used any time the player runs or swims through enemy ink.

Mutual exclusivity
Since this ability is found as the main ability only on shoes, other abilities found only on shoes are mutually exclusive with it; in other words you cannot have them together. These abilities are Bomb Sniffer, and Stealth Jump.
Update History
- In version 1.3.0, this ability was actually nerfed, making the ease of movement in enemy ink much less noticeable.
