An Ink Switch.

Ink Switches are a mechanic in Splatoon 2. They appear in Octo Canyon and the Octo Expansion, as well as several Shifty Stations.

They appear to be den-den daiko (Japanese pellet drums) with targets painted on them. When hit with ink, they spin in one direction which usually moves a connected platform or another object. Once left alone, they will start winding back to the moved object's original location.
